The Nanoenvi® MET equipment is assembled with a strong IP65 casing designed to remain outdoors for years. These devices are compatible with the main manufacturers of sensors, both analogical and digital, and specific drivers are developed for new sensors.

Electronics
Equipped with an ATMEL SAM4 processor with 120MHz and 160KB RAM, the Nanoenvi MET device has the computational capacity needed to run operations in real time, to pre-process, add and validate the data captured, as well as to run simple analyses of the information obtained before communicating it (Edge), with the purposes of: detecting alarms and other events in real time; optimizing communications; managing protocols or activating relays or other actuators in real time.
Communications
The Nanoenvi MET devices have been developed to be integrated in IoT networks. With this purpose, based on the requirements to fulfill and the technical limitations of the surroundings, they can be equipped with several M2M communication mechanisms such as 3G, LoRa®, ZigBee®, WiFi, 6lowpan, etc.
As all Nanoenvi devices, the Nanoenvi MET equipment is delivered integrated (Plug’n play) in the IoT platform chosen by the client (both open platforms or owned by the client).
Ruggedness
Made of ABS/PC, a strong synthetic compound, the Nanoenvi MET device has been designed to remain outdoors for years. The casing, with an IP66 protection level, guarantees the performance of the electronics even in the most aggressive conditions: rain, humidity, intense solar radiation, etc.
Sensors
The modular design of the Nanoenvi MET equipment allows connection with any kind of meteorological sensors, both analogical and digital. The internal firmware includes an extensive library of drivers that makes it easy to quickly integrate the data collected. Some Nanoenvi MET sensors are: anemometers, rain gauges, barometers, thermometers, weather-vanes, solar monitors, gas sensors, solar radiation sensors, etc. All the sensors included in the Nanoenvi MET equipment have been carefully selected and calibrated one by one at our certified laboratory, thus achieving the maximum accuracy, stability and reliability in the measurements.
